Problem
Closing blinds against the afternoon sun also shuts out the view you bought the house for. Glare on screens and fading floors are the usual trade for keeping the windows open.
How solar shades help
Solar shade fabric is woven with tiny openings. It filters sunlight and blocks most UV, yet you can still see out. A tighter weave gives more protection, a looser weave gives more view.

Solar Shades FAQ
Do solar shades give privacy at night?
No. When lights are on inside after dark, people can see in. For bedrooms we pair them with a second, privacy or blackout shade.
What does openness mean?
It is how open the weave is. A 3% fabric blocks more sun than a 10% fabric, and a 10% fabric gives a clearer view.
Should I pick a dark or light fabric?
Dark fabrics give a clearer view and less glare. Light fabrics reflect more heat. We will show you both at your window.
